The ILO, through the Lazos Project and with the support of the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida), provided technical assistance to the National School of Public Administration (ENAP) in Peru to provide the Fair Recruitment course for labour sector officials. A total of 64 participants were certified, 78% of whom were women.

With this final course, the Lazos Project has completed the training cycle in its four countries of intervention (Argentina, Colombia, Peru, and the Dominican Republic), equipping more than 200 key labour sector stakeholders with knowledge on Fair Recruitment.

Following the conclusion of the training cycle, the Lazos Project conducted an analysis of participant experience, satisfaction, and course usability in Colombia and Peru. The results in Peru show that 70% of surveyed participants rated the course positively, highlighting both its design and the relevance of its content for their professional roles. Responses indicate that barriers remain, particularly related to adapting content to specific job functions, which could enhance the usability of the training and its tools in diverse work contexts.

In Colombia, usability survey responses rated the relevance of the training for job performance at an average of 4.36 on a scale of 1 to 5.

In the Dominican Republic, the National Migration Institute (INM) and the National Migration School (ENM) decided to institutionalize the course as a permanent program within their curriculum. As the only public-sector training offer on migration, this represents a significant precedent. During the second quarter of 2025, the second edition of the Diploma will take place.

Lazos Project has also published five documents regarding Fair Recruitment: two publications aimed at employers in Argentina and Peru, and three academic papers from the Diploma in Labour Migration Governance held in 2023.
